What is Event schema markup?

Event schema (Event on schema.org) is structured data that tells Google your page describes an event. When Google recognises it, your event can appear as a rich result in search — showing the date, time, location, and ticket availability directly on the results page.

Events with valid schema are also eligible for the dedicated Events panel that appears in Google Search, giving you a second prominent placement beyond the standard organic results.
